Welcome

The majority of our downloads are in either a Zip, MS Word, PDF, or Text format.

About Zip Files

To view a zip file, you need to "unzip" it using a utility such as WinZip or other free zip utilities.  "Zipping" a file is a method of compressing the file so that it can be transferred at a much higher rate than if it were in it's native uncompressed state.  A file that might normally take 10 minutes to download can be "zipped" and the download time can be significantly reduced.

WinZip Now A trial version WinZip can be downloaded from WinZip.com and a free version can be found at http://shareware.cnet.com/

About MS Word Files

If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, you should be able to open the MS Word (.doc) files on this web site directly in your browser. If you wish to save your own version of the Word file(s), you will need to go to File menu in your browser and choose Save As.

If you are using a version of Internet Explorer lower than 5.0 or a third party web browser such as Netscape, you will be prompted to Save To Disk or to Open from Current Location.  You will not be able to open the file directly from the web site.

About PDF Files

To read or view a pdf (Portable Document Format) file, you will need to download and install the Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0. This is a web browser plug-in from Adobe that seamlessly integrates with your browser and allows you to view and print PDF files.  Best of all, it's free!

Adobe Acrobat Reader If you do not have Acrobat Reader 4.0 installed on your computer, you can download it for free here

Important Special Note:

If you attempt to open a MS Word file and you have MS Office 2000 installed but you have not installed their Office 2000 Service Release 1 file, you might be prompted for a password to open the Word file file.  This does not indicate an error with the file - it is a problem with MS Office 2000 Suite.  The Service Release 1 file corrects this issue and can be downloaded for free at the Microsoft Web Site.  You should be able to click "Cancel" and skip the password prompt.  If you click Cancel, you should be able to continue to download the Word  file.
